Construction of Cabinet Boxes
Standard cabinet boxes are made of 18 mm laminated particle board in the colors presented below with 0.8 mm PVC edging. Upon request we can modify height, width or depth to adapt to custom kitchen layouts. Any modifications of standard sizes will have an additional fee applied to the cost of the box. The majority of cabinet boxes are offered fully assembled as glued or joined with eccentric joints. Tall cabinets without drawers or racks and end shelving units are delivered disassembled. Back walls
Back walls are made of 3 mm thick finish foiled HDF board with wood figure in the same color as cabinet box. In the case of white or ashen cabinet boxes the back walls are made of a white varnished HDF board.
Shelves
All shelves are made of cabinet box color laminated particle board with 0.8 mm PVC edging on the front narrow plane and paper edging on other surfaces. If cabinet box has glass doors than 8mm thick glass shelves with chamfered edge and polished sides are used.
Bases
Bases are made of 98 mm or 148 mm high toe kicks made of laminated or veneered particle board or varnished MDF. Toe kicks are affixed with locking clamps to cabinet’s legs. Additionally we offer anodised aluminium bases, aluminium coated PVC bases and a system of under cabinet frames.
Legs
All standard base cabinet boxes are assambled with 100 mm (4 inch) plastic legs with adjustment range –10 +30 mm. Optionally you can order 150 mm (6 inch) legs.
Customization of width, height and depth is possible for an additional cost. Base cabinets come with leg levelers but do not include toe kick panels which can be chosen separately. Toe kick panels available in 4 inch or 6 inch height and offered in aluminum finish, or cabinet box matching or door matching finishes. Drawer boxes available with Metabox or Tandem box configurations. There are several configurations of corner units, the latest most advance development by Blum is offered in DSGN-10/10/T box configuration.
